Terms of Use

Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Boat Ramp US (the "Site"), operated by Space Bits, S.L. (NIF ESB64776271, Manresa, Spain), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
What this Site is
Boat Ramp US is an independent, informational directory of public boat ramps across the United States, built from federal and state agency open data. It is provided free of charge and does not require an account to use.
Accuracy of information - please read this carefully
Ramp listings are sourced from government datasets and are refreshed on a regular schedule, but conditions change faster than any directory can guarantee: ramps close, fees change, water levels drop, docks get damaged. Always confirm current access, fees, and conditions with the managing agency or in person before relying on this Site to plan a trip.
Boat Ramp US is not affiliated with the U.S. Geological Survey, any state fish and wildlife or natural resources agency, or any other government body referenced on this Site.
Weather and water quality data
Where shown, current weather comes from the National Weather Service, and water quality summaries come from the EPA's ATTAINS program (the same data behind the EPA's own How's My Waterway tool).
Water quality assessments are a periodic snapshot, not real-time monitoring. The condition of a specific waterbody is dynamic and can change at any time, and a watershed-wide summary may not reflect conditions at any single spot within it. This information is provided for general reference only - if available, refer to local or state real-time water quality reports, and always use your own judgment about conditions before heading out.
Not safety or professional advice
Content in our Tips & Guides section is general information only, not professional, safety, or legal advice specific to your boat, trailer, or situation. You're responsible for your own boating and towing decisions, and for following applicable laws and manufacturer guidance.

We review submissions before publishing and reserve the right to edit, decline, or remove any submission at our discretion, including content we believe to be inaccurate, spam, or abusive.
